Ive found it practically bombproof

you checked your memory? Ive found that XP is very tempramental about memory

xp doesn't crash. In two years, this machine has only ever crashed on one occasion, due to a faulty power supply. The linux installation on here fell over then too. If XP crashes, you either have dodgy hardware or you've done something wrong.
