I fucking hate pineapple. it should not be a part of the human diet. like bananas. bananas is not food either, it's a meat substitute.

But on pizza it mings. Bananas are very rich in potassium, which is supposed to be good for you. Begs the question, will I turn purple if I eat bananas and permanganate?

"begs the question" means (or at least meant) to phrase the question in such a way as to answer it before it's been asked. To load it with only one answer or to make it difficult to answer sensibly. What you mean (whether you're in yorkshire or not) is "raise the question".
