# from some FAQ site:
"Cthulhu is a large green being which resembles a human with the head of a squid, huge bat-wings, and long talons (true, that doesn't really resemble a human, but bear with me here). According to H. P. Lovecraft's story "The Call of Cthulhu", Cthulhu rests in a tomb in the city of R'lyeh, which sank beneath the Pacific Ocean aeons ago. Cthulhu is dead but not truly dead, as he and his fellow inhabitants of R'lyeh sleep the aeons away. (Cthulhu is generally thought of as a "he" for some reason.) From time to time R'lyeh comes to the surface, and Cthulhu's dreams influence sensitive individuals across the globe to depict his image, slay, and found cults dedicated to him. In the past, R'lyeh has sunk after a short time, but the day will soon come when it rises to the surface permanently and great Cthulhu strides across a world thrown into chaos and anarchy from his telepathic sendings."

# look...
I'm new to this whole thing... sorta. I mean
fascinating

# Actually he's basically on his own in R'lyeh.
Apart from the Star-spawn of Cthulhu, who sort of tend to him from a distance while he sleeps. And Deep Ones who worship him and do his bidding, but they're generally more sort of scattered.

# That would be "Call Of Cthulhu",
the game named after the story and soon to be an FPS of magnificence.

# frog penetrating sausage?
(, Wed 3 Mar 2004, 23:19, archived)
# Rawr!
I like the sound of that!
(, Wed 3 Mar 2004, 23:24, archived)
#
precisely

edit: I assume you mean that the frog would be penetrating the sausage, and not the other way around. Like man eating tiger.

# Yay for Cthulhu!

And Cthulhu reposts...except this one's purple...for some reason.

# yours is more accurate
as to the description...

I just wanted to draw the head. Hey, this kinda makes me think that there's some sort of weird connection between Cthuhlu and Zoidberg from Futurama.

Thoughts?

# I have to...
catch the bus in 40 minutes...

OH!

You wanted something related...sorry
(, Wed 3 Mar 2004, 23:21, archived)
# Never thought of that,
but indeed, it could very well be a malevolent-elder-god-inspired character.

...I wonder how many of those even exist.
(, Wed 3 Mar 2004, 23:21, archived)
# I couldn't tell ya.
I know Zoidberg rocks though!
WHOA!
