Could anyone give me a little help on this one. I am trying to convert a photo into a black and white bitmap, not grayscale: just black and white pixels. Can anyone tell me what the best method is? (I'm using Photoshop). Thanks heaps!

# bitmap
just change the image to greyscale and then to a bitmap image - that should work

# Erm...

# i would
copy and paste it into word. it has a picture toolbar which is equipped with dropdown, with options like grayscale, actual colours and black and white. then copy and paste it back in to potatoshop.

but that's just me

# black&white
convert to greyscale. Image / Adjust / brightness/contrast and move contrast slider to the far right. Adjust brightness to taste. Is that what you were after?
