I tend to use a plectrum on bass . .
but end up playing it like a guitar, bass chords rock (in a Lemmy style) :¬)

yeah, but just occasionaly i get asked to play
some shit pop-punk song, and then using a pick makes it both easier and less tiring (i hate fingerpicking fast for long periods)
