# Osymyso gig last night

It was tempting to pick-pocket. Rob: Throw a 'charidee' party to pay for a new server. Osymyso said he'd play for free. I'm sure myself and Big_DAAAARRFFT (not 'bad')_dave would compare the evening for free (small fee).

# actualy
it's big daft dave, Your_Bum. Charidee bt3a event sounds like an very very good idea, except everyone will discover how ugly all the other b3tans are and therefore abandon the board.

# I think your 'Baaaaaaaad' Its my pet name for you
I think the b3ta populance would look like they've all been photoshoped. Y'know normal bodies with kitten's heads.

# My pet name for you is Randy Babcock
But i don't use it in public. oh balls. it's out now. Re: the ugliness problem, we could all wear furtive/kitten/penguin/sophie ellis bextor masks. WE SHOULD INVITE SOPHIE! we could put her in a cage made of trellising near the back door.

# King Of The Boots
I was there last night. Cracking evening, despite the increadibly cramped nature of The Asylum.

Strangely, the tune that got the crowd going the most wasnt one of the mutant pop tracks of the Bootlegers, but The Hives "Hate to say I told you so" Brilliant. I got so excited I jumped up and cracked my head on a speaker. This cricked my neck and it was so painful i had to go home soon after :) Nevermind. I had fun, but didn't manage to snag one of the free records being handed out :(

# The sad thing is
I (like a Barley) was listening to loads of bootlegs on my walkman on the way down. There I was surrounded by b3ta people and my music collection. I don't know why I bothered to leave home :)

# were the B3tans all ugly?
or really good looking?
(, Fri 8 Mar 2002, 6:56, archived)
# well i'm
dead handsome, and there we're plenty of people there like me, dahling. It was a really good night, actually, despite the fact that i didn't really talk to anyone except me bird. I find it a bit hard coming out with "so are you, like me, one of the geeks from B3ta?" I shouldn't really have a problem with this as in other circles I say the name with ireverent pride, but it's different when your in a club trying to look cool, isnt it?

# well
i reckon "so are you, like me, one of the geeks from b3ta?" is a pretty good chat up line. I might try it tonight.
I can imagine a B3ta night would feature a group of sniggering geeks huddled around a laptop in the corner having a photoshop 'jam'.
oh god i hope i'm wrong.

# was it really full of b3ta people?
You didn't say hello - you bastards. Well, one did. But only one...
