# I disagree
read books by Michael and learn what is really happening in the world.

EDIT : That said I do wish he would pull his trousers up.

# I agree, he rocks.
He may be biased too, but at least it's in right direction.

Oh, I would woo the pic but as Websense won't let me see it I don't know if it is deserving :-)

# you get websense on single images???
Can't see why, it's not naughty, does have moore moobs in but not close up.
(, Thu 15 Apr 2004, 13:55, archived)
# Some twunt seems to have set up websense so
that we cannot even see images hosted on various servers, MSN groups being a prime example.

This of course means that the board looks pretty blank during the day.

Although it must be said that I have no life and therefore can catch up at home in the evening.

# ... until you read the stuff he writes about the UK
and realise its all just a well-meaning but over-simplistic diatribe.

Saw him at Camden Lock last year, where he confused the audience into embarrased silence by accusing everyone of being closet a anti-Semite.

# Yeah, Moore's never totally on point
and he's certainly better at writing about American politics than anything else. The reason he's been successful and why the US liberals love him is because he can get the liberal message across to blue collar America, who are usually Republican. The left in America tend to be more middle class.

So fair play to him really.

# Funny that he can't reach blue-collar workers in the UK
I mean, he has tits and everything....
(, Thu 15 Apr 2004, 14:05, archived)
# bollocks
he gives a decent rant
but he can be thick as pigslurry
the man who was surprised that tap water came from lakes?
and propogates the myth that separate recyclable waste is just all dumped back together whilst proclaiming himself a green?
and thinks the irish problem is purely catholic/protestant?
and that he could solve the palestine situation with a slapped wrist and a group hug?
(, Thu 15 Apr 2004, 13:55, archived)
# recyclable waste
ever watched as they empty the glass bottle banks into the lorry, all goes into one lorry, same compartment, it's a ploy to make you realise just how many bottles of wine and spirits you drink each week...hick. Thus making you feel good about drinking and so go and buy more. Hurrah for recycling!!!

# not in my universe it doesn't
sorry
(, Thu 15 Apr 2004, 14:01, archived)
# Yeah
what is that about?
(, Thu 15 Apr 2004, 14:06, archived)
# the same compartment bit or the drink more bit?
(, Thu 15 Apr 2004, 14:09, archived)
# yes
definately both, but mainly the compartment bit. i have seen it done. shame on them

edit: maybe they have hidden cameras watching us and someone sits there all day laughing as we try to decide where to put the browny-green bottle when they know it makes no difference
