I apologise for jumping in with both feet but I would advise being a bit different and listening to Band Of Gypsies Live at Filmore. Top stuff.

To Stellarstar - My Coco
I got a feeling it will be huge, just as I thought Franz would be.

anything released in the last 25 years or so with the exception of funky house which my flat mate DJ's with. I'm listening to Ten Years After - Stonedhenge at the moment. I thought Franz were a little gimmicky and stealing a riff from Led Zepplin, no matter how funky isnt gonna win them favour with me.

but he used to turn the guitar upside down and play with the bass strings at the bottom.
He was a genius

I got his hands mixed up.
But he's still playing with bass strings on the bottom....
That's £5 for me being half wrong.

I'm gonna go upstairs and take a photo of one of my albums just to prove it.
I'll reply to this in 5 minutes...

Mind you - this pic has obviously been mirror reversed.

but i'm pretty sure the close ups of hendrix at woodstock & monterey have a rh guitar but restrung.

handed but used a re-strung right handed guitar. Apparently he also had unusually long digits and could hook his thumb over the fret board and play along to bass notes as well as mixing rythmn and lead with his other four fingers. Ive also heard some other pretty amazing stuff about what he was rumoured to be capable of with a guitar. Like getting 32 individual sounds from one note or something.

Play with his teeth. I was told that by my Office Manager. Is that true?

and there is footage of him playing while rolling over backwards on stage. Also played behind his back but that pales in comparison to most things he could do. Ive read in several books the observers noticed he was incredibly well hung too but I doubt that affected his playing ability too much.

of footage, always shown with the ingenious use of ones flies.. and the infamous behind the head murderation of the 'StarSpangledBanner'....

I like that. Most people dont, i played it loudly at 9am last year in student halls and buggered to the kitchen and when I came back someone had been in my room and physically cut the speaker cables with a pair of pliers. Bastards.
