# unlimited bandwidth doesn't exist
anything that claims to have unlimited bandwidth will have an abuse policy especially for high bandwidth spikes

i wouldn't reccomend it

# I've talked
to their support people, it'd have to get really high for it to bother them as most of their clients on that package only use about 2gb

anyways here it is, thisistom.co.uk/otterpunks/

for however long

# yes, the newsletter + 1.2Mb animation = FUCKING HIGH BANDWIDTH
but bigger

30-40Gb in a couple of days would be easily possible i'd have thought. Remember that 100,000 people plus view the newsletter each week. i would place a small amount of money on you gettijng done for abuse

# ok, no problem here
Our Value Host and Value Host PRO accounts do not allow the hosting of .exe, .cmd, .bat, .mov, .avi, .mp3, .mpeg, .mpg, .wav, .rm, .ram, .rmx, .asf, .wmf, .wmp, and .wma files. We also don't allow the following if over 1mb in size: rar, .ace, .lzh, .zip, and .arj. If you want to host any of these file types you will need to purchase a Premier Host or Mid Host package.

I'll check the bandwidth then

# Yeah that would be best
it's no fun having your website deleted because their 'unlimited' bandwidth claim was just marketing.
(, Thu 22 Apr 2004, 18:46, archived)
# oh
and the only thing in their abuse policy is that I'm not allowed zips, mp3s and downloady things. Although I dont think they enforce that unless you use up too much bandwidhth

# believe me here
there really is no such thing on a host as unlimited bandwidth and i suspect your hosting package is not an especially expensive one therefore you will have low bandwidth limits

# who would you recommend
for newsletter-stuff hosting?
