Why does everyone seem to hate her more than Ian Huntley?

I'm not defending her, but she didn't kill anyone just lied to try and cover up for someone she couldn't believe had done it. She wasn't even in the same county when he did it.

Yeah she was out of order, but does she really deserve to be killed?
