# Should we not be sensitive today?
To the memory of all those who died in Chile on September 11th 1973 when a U.S.-backed coup toppled the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende in 1973. In turn initiating a reign of terror by General Augusto Pinochet where thousands of innocent civilians were murdered and many faced firing squads.

Never heard of a world-wide two minute silence for them. Just a thought.....
