I did use alpha transparency filters at first but I couldn't make it degrade to something that still looked good in mozilla.

oh, i never bothered checking mine in other browsers
i am pretty happy with mine though so i hope it looks good all round,
its a good idea drawing the sections on the background though, i had a hell of a time creating, resizing and moving boxes around, and you can use better effects the way you've done it aswell

it has a few glitches in firefox
half the top bar text is missing and the white line to the left if your oookiezoo image doesn't show. Also the images aren't centralised in the blue borders.
It's probably because IE & Mozilla work differently if you specify both width and padding. IE's width/height includes the padding. Mozilla's doesn't.
