I can´t sleep, so have a repost for the compo:


edit: After looking at this for a while, I noticed two things: the explosion looked red in my old monitor; and I can vaguely see Chump´s silhouete behind 'AT&T'

are you in research botany or what?
i on'y asks because one of my degrees is/will be zoology, and i have yet to find a practical, paying use for it. so i inquire of those in sort of similar fields.

I´m producing the knowledge that I will eventually use on more practical projects in the future (like conservation, environmental education, aplication of endangered wild plants on medicine, landscaping, or any other use that would promote their preservation, etc.).

But I will fatally end up as a school teacher, if everything else fails.

In fact, all I know about Caecilians is that they are... sticky. I don´t know if there are any native from here.

Edit: I just checked. Yes, there are a few species here. But I could have confused them with worms, if I ever saw one.

they live everywhere yet people are unaware of them!

edit: yeah, but they are AMPHIBIANS!
and some are pretty damn big.

most of them do, anyways. there might be a couple that have evolved out of them.

edit: the largest known species as of 2000 was 5 ft long. they may have discovered a bigger one by now, i en't sure.

since that's what they are.

they're mostly burrowers, with some aquatic species. some are really brightly colored. they have ringlike folds in their skin, almost like segments but not reeeally. some give birth to live offspring. they have skeletons an' all that.
