# An 8 mb JPG...
He must be living outside the box!

# Nooo!
It's fucking massive! You'd need physics just to calculate how much bandwidth you've just rogered

Optimise that bugger!

Come on - it's 1851 + 2037 pixels - what is it, a 2500 dpi jpeg?

# er i know it looks little
but it's still huge, and seems to be struggling a bit

# oh dear god
I lie. Its a combination of the two. I apologise for that, if you don't accept my apology i'll tell your bosses that you're on b3ta whilst you're supposed to be paper pushing

# it's
1851x2037 natively...

That's a scary size...

It's probably not even a jpg...

Resize it, please! Don't just change the height and width settings!

# big!
Is that inverting a matrix by Gauss Jordan elimination? I remember doing that - totally pointless since we have computers to do that kind of thing and they don't even use that method anyway.
edit: I live up to my name

# yes
boring easy maths. They have to reiterate that crap because some retards at uni don't know how to do maths in their head. So they get a computer to do it. Woo
(, Fri 18 Jun 2004, 15:34, archived)
# ahh, but what if civilisation fell
and all the pc's lost their power, who would invert matrices by groussjimblumembombulation then? we'd all starve

let's keep those survival skills alive folks!
