Most people on this side of th Atlantic don't know what Irony is.They think anything that is coincidental is ironic, because they never learned the proper definition of the word. Either that or they are too shallow and bobble-headed to understand that irony is the specific set of circumstances in which the exact opposite of what you would expect to happen, happens. 10,000 spoons when you need a knife is not ironic. Needing a knife, not being able to find one, and then randomly being stabbed in the throat. . . ah, now there's some irony.
