but not this.

# interestin' distinction yer makin' there.

#
1) She was an aid worker. Ken was a worker (for money).
2) Margaret lived in Iraq for 10 years. Ken went over there to make money....in a war zone..
3) Ken went over there, not only knowing the risks, but not giving a thought to his family who were rightfully devastated.

In conclusion, I make the distinction because Margaret was selfless. Ken was nearing the opposite of selfless, and yes it is a terrible thing that they both died but look at the facts - who had more control over their fate in the time leading up to their deaths?

# Wish I knew what made Ken dying so amusing..
Because I can find no reason to laugh at his death, or hers.
But I guess I must be inhumane, or just stupid. :)

# I hoped it would get over and done with
just so we could get his cunting brother out of the press

# Actually, if I'm honest, I didn't like the Ken Bigley posts either.
but I like these far less.

# No...
I see Spunkmeyer's point. Both deaths were inexcusable, yes. But where Hussan was a charity worker trying to help the Iraqi people, Bigley had only gone because he could get more money than at home.

# And that places the distinction where, exactly?

# I don't know.
I didn't find them that funny either.

# Maybe I'm misunderstanding your reply,
but I think the distinction was made very clearly.
