Im updateing the hotlinking on the ukdragon uploader (www.ukdragon.com/b3ta).
WinXP isn't letting me call the htaccess file .htaccess because of the dot. Does anyone know how i can get around this?
I have to use XP because im at uni and i cant be bothered to go upstairs to a linux one :P

and it is also possible to rename the local file with an ftp client as far as i know

I have no clue why it isnt
try making a new text document, putting the text in it, and saving it directly as .htaccess, I did that for something I was testing and it worked perekkly

notepad can save it as .htaccess but you cant rename it in windows explorer
