Oh well
Firefox leaks memory like a sieve, tabbed browsing is unimportant [if it was I'd use Maxthon] and it has a number of infuriating bugs (selecting text goes crazy from time to time, random crashes)... so I'll stick to IE, thank you ;)

A lot of the memory leaks are gone now.
Tabbed browsing is a preference thing, but for basic secure browsing it beats IE hands down.
Actually I use Konqueror on KDE (Linux) for all my stuff, but if I have to browse from Windoze it's with Firefox.

Well, FF has one advantage over IE
- it's pretty idiot proof.
Though I don't see what's so "secure" or "insecure" about IE. As long as you don't install every ActiveX that gets thrown your way, you're pretty safe.

There's the rub ...
I reckon that a browser must be idiot proof *first* and flashy bells and whistles *second*. I want a browser that my parents can use without being fooled into downloading/install activeX crap or other malware.
Me and you are probably savy enough to use I.E. and not get burnt, but to say that this doesn't make it bad would be like saying that chainsaws without guards are fine because providing that everyone who ever uses one is already an expert in using them, nobody will get hurt.
