A few years back (1999?), IBM used lots of clever technology to push 35 single atoms into the shape of their corporate logo. Just to prove they could.
It's officially the smallest writing in the world ... ever!

IBM are able to physically move atoms and make pretty patterns with them.
and people wonder why it took them so long to help develop the CELL chip.
