you seem to like (the) Eels, so that alone makes you great. Keane aren't bad,
they just got too popular and now it's a bad thing to like them.

I dont dislike Keane, they just seem a bit bland to me, so I cant bring myself to listen to the album.
I would list what I like here but I know SSG would mock it immediately, no matter what it was.

have musical talent, they just (probably not intentionally) went down the path of trying to appeal to lots of people with melodic piano-pop.
It's not that their stuff is bland, it's just more... well.. "Easy listening". Which probably isn't the best.
