I have several PSD files that i want to use to make an animated gif... The psd files have several layers, my idea being to convey a story by switching the layers from visible to non-visible, etc. But can i work our how to string these psds together to make a single file in Image Ready?
No. No i can't. Any ideas?

then select them one by one and set the layer visibility, and the timing by clicking the tiny arrows beneath each thumbnail.

its just that i'll end up with about 7 different animated gif files rather than just one, because i can't work out how to introduce the rest of the layer'd psd files to the first (animated) one....
I have a horrible feeling I'll have to make one huuuuuuuge psd and spend ages confusing myself with about 40 layers.... Nice!

make them all into one psd in photoshop before you import.
drag the layers all into one psd (hold down [ctrl or shift or alt or summat] to maintain the position). Link them first before you drag, to save time.
