# i'm a bioinformaticist
but i have been leering at wacoms for a while.
I assume they are good quality across the board, so cheaper ones aren't crapper, just smaller(?)

# the cheap ones
are crap, you get what you pay for.

the intuos are the top top range and are awesome, the graphire are mid range and are good for most people and the volita are pure wank, don't even touch them. there is a reason they are £35

# Ebay is your friend
Theres a steady stream of Intuos tablets - given a bit of patience its possible to find a decent second-hand one. I got an original Intuos with an A5 active area... Works good!

# thats what i have
and its totally awesome

wouldn't buy anything cheaper - you might as well just burn your £40

# I bought
Wacom Volito last week, very nice, a little confusing to use at first but very nice when you get the hang of it.

If only I could draw!
