# yes and no
I watch a lot of downloads, but you can't beat TV for a big news event.

The recent tube stuff I was glued to BBC news 24 / Sky News.

# true
Although I flick to Fox news (on sky) for right wing "the end is neigh" coverage. I was in stitches. this was good though.
(, Thu 28 Jul 2005, 2:54, archived)
# yeah remember what happened to CNN, BBC etc. websites on 9/11
the internet can't cope with that kind of traffic of people news hunting, but tv being a one-way broadcast system...
(, Thu 28 Jul 2005, 2:57, archived)
# that sucks
they'd have a job trying to steal my tv, 28" widescreen's weigh a fucking ton! really wasn't easy pushing it up two steep flights of stairs

# perhaps
I listened to a podcast where the editor of 2600: The Hacker Quarterly was taken around the BBC. Wise? perhaps.

# yes and no
all their tv shows where they have guns, knives etc. they get from their stash, not the kind of items they want in the general props dept.
when we were having a go with the gun the police called down to find out what the noise was about :)
this was absolutely years ago, to give you an idea how long ago during the visit we also went onto the set of Juliet Bravo...
