# Why that's a rainstick you got made there.
Its called a rainstick and are usually made from the skeleton of a cactus. The prickly bits are pushed into the soft bit. When it has dried out, the hollow cactus is filled with small stones and the ends sealed up!

Then they are flogged to unsuspecting tourists!
