# Apologies for crapness
but does anyone know what one of these is called.

it's a tube with something in the middle and it makes a 'Muuuuuuh' noise when you turn it upside down.

# i think you just need to put end caps on with slits of the right size and shape
so that when the disk moves it forces air out through them

you should buy a little one and copy the holes, and cut it open to see if the disk is anything special.

Its called a rainstick and are usually made from the skeleton of a cactus. The prickly bits are pushed into the soft bit. When it has dried out, the hollow cactus is filled with small stones and the ends sealed up!
