Dear web marketing agencies with your fancy little landing pages for web sites, costing about 2 grand a pop for something that could be knocked up in a day - if you`re sending some stuff through to a company whose web site is built using Java, don`t fucking send PHP!

PHP is great
when it`s well-designed, and nicely written

JavaScript ain`t the same thing at all
they should just bin the name and call it ECMAScript; it`s nowt like Java, same as "JScript" is nowt like Java

I suppose thats much like vbscript and VB .... I suppose I should learn Java or something useful one day. If I want to keep on doing dev stuff, which I really don't particularly.

it`s a great language
but there`s too many ways to skin the cat, and everybody`s re-inventing the wheel... and then Sun comes along and says "uh, the last version wasn`t quite right, so you can use this instead.. by the way you`ll need to rewrite shitloads of code"
I wonder if there`s a market for Sinclair Basic apps...
