someone gave about an Amazonian expedition they went on. They told a story about shooting a bird to eat it. There were two birds on the branch... they shot one of them, which of course fell dead. The other one just sat there, sort of looking around, confused. And they later found out that the bird they'd shot was an endangered species.

Heh heh I don't know what the point of that story is.
