I am bored of photoshopping, and want to move into the world of animated gifs.
Can you guys suggest any good freeware to help my cause?
I have tried using Coffee Cup GIF Animator, but to my Chegwin, all the gifs i make are FUCKING HUGE in file size and run at the pace of a disabled kid!
Bling bling!

some other peoples anims into imageready and take a look at how they're done (obviously you won't get to see the actual layers - but you should see how animating works)

using it and i worked it out yesterday. it helps if you're familiar with normal photoshop. the trick is to make new frames, lots of layers and then make certain layers visible in certain frames. and to move layers around. erh, i just picked up as i went along. give it some time and it'll come naturally, hopefully.
