# Yay for you, yes?
What a daft feature - why not show it in the optimised window?

Why make me save it and open it each time to see?

Silly Adobe, that image is not transparent, it is a duff.

# I was trying to pick
a splinter from my nail bed with a penknife blade, but kinda jerked my arm, thusly knocking teh blade a full 90 degress, and shattering said nail.

*wobbling lip*

# yay!
thats quite good that
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 1:57, archived)
# Ta.
I haven't really tried to do anything like it before, so I didn't try too hard, (still 3 hours or so, mind) but I reckon that if I had a good enough idea and a decent source to play with I could make something really good in 10 or 12 hours.

How to turn the files which my 'phone generates (real player files) into mpegs?

# Ahh, tis befitting of such skill and
witchery!

Im fucked off 'cuz PSP 'discovered a problem' and closed, losing my coloured + lineart picture of 'Air the Incompetant Thief"

grr, silly programs

EDIT: i need to rethink Airs title...

# im assuming you have windows xp media centre edition
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 1:58, archived)
# MCE?
no, why? I used to work here: www.mediacenterware.com so I have some knowledge of it, but I don't have telly even, so I have no real use for it.

I will ask a further question once you have told me why you ask this.

EDIT - Ooh! I want to know why you asked now.
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:02, archived)
# Come on now,
Why did you say that?

Am I missing out on a huge piece of technology that is good for animations which I could easily obtain?
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:23, archived)
# theres a little thing in MCE that makes a girl dance.
it dances in time to whatever music your listening to, and changes her dancing styles to suit the genre.
its fucking lame.
hang on, ill screenshot it.

EDIT: aaah i cant find the damn thing.
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:25, archived)
# Ah!
Yes, I know the one.

I'd forgotten her, no this isn't based on that at all.

I just chose something at random - I was going to do a man running, but it's hard to loop that and it's my first ever attempt at anyhing like this so . . .

Bugger, what was my other question?
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:28, archived)
# Ah yes.
I want a music only MCE thing.

Basicly a box with a couple of RAIDed 200Gig drives, a dvd/cd burner and a decnt sound card.

Just a really shit hot mp3 library really.

I'd be happy to use an ipod or whatever for the interface if necessary, but I'd like to be able to burn and rip as well as play and I have about 200Gig of music and I'd want it backed up.

Any ideas?
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:32, archived)
# yes.
im doing the same thing for my telly.
Im gonna build a Pentium D 2.8, with MCE, a Nvidia 6800, probably a gig of ram, digital tuner and probably two 250 gigs raided together.
I love being a computer technie, this entire thing will probably cost me less than a grand

EDIT: make sure u get the MCE remote. it fucking pwns.
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:44, archived)
# I don't really like it,
I have playeed with lots of MCEs, both 2004 and 2005 and I don't think I'll get one. The 10'UI just isn't me and if I'm up close then I might as well use the keyboard.

# now make it have a black background, then blue,. then red, then yellow and post in a new thread each time!!
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:06, archived)
# This is fair.
I am seldom backward in pointing out when others threadwaste and, whilst I attempt to excuse it with my title, it is inexcusable.

I am well chuffed to have learned why the problem was occuring and to have fixed it though.
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:07, archived)
# no..
i am serious.
(, Sun 19 Mar 2006, 2:08, archived)
# Hmm
Out of interest, what happes to the board if I post 10 new threads and then delete them all?

Also, if someone I am ignoring (Fireman Sam likes rainbows because he is gay, for example - should I unignore him yet?) posts a new thread, do I get 9 threads on the page or do I get to see one which other people don'e?

EDIT - I posted (and deleted) 4 new threads and now have 15 threads on the board. I realise that I do not know how many are supposed to be there.
