well - a CRT inside an electron hits the front of the
screen on the inside - excites the phosphorous which causes it to emit a photon.... but not on an LCD thats just a light behind there.

yay- I had no previous knowledge of how screens worked. Ta
also, the 'macro' stuff's just the kit lens with a Canon 300D. Too cheap to get a real macro lens. One day, though... one day
