# I would visit the US
if it wasn't for stupid policies such as this.

I'd love to see this fascinating, rich and diverse country and spend all my British pounds there too, but since they stuck my four year old nephew in a machine to sniff him for who knows what, I shall spend my British pounds in Britain.

# My opinion of the USA
Having visited Seattle, Detroit, Washington DC and New York is that... most places are really dull compared to New York, and most suburbs, (like Ann Arbor 30 miles from Detroit) are REALLY fucking dull.

If you go, go to somewhere with a bit of life-- NY-- mebbes San Fransico or somewhere like that. Everywhere else inbetween is very very dull. Unless you like going to the mall for your only amenity.

# Surely
there is life to be found somewhere outside of the cities, isn't there?

I half fancy doing an anthropological study, taking in all the states and employing field techniques on the inhabitants..

There must be a pulse beyond the mall.
