I woke up at 9:00 this morning, with no hangover whatsoever and have felt great all day.
I am old enough to know that as long as I drink 2 or 3 pints of water before bed, eat a Veggie Whopper meal and bosh 2 Neurofen, then all will be well in the morning!
I did have a mash-up headache before I went to bed at 3.00ish this morning though.
I was so excited about meeting you when you put your name on that list of who was going, and then you couldn't make it. :o(
Maybe in the not too distant future you and Nicey will be in the same place at the same time as me.

Excellent
nurofen is brill stuff for hangover prevention. We really will make an effort to come next time - if we can't get babysitters then I'll just come myself I think. Shame Brighton is so far from here..

I know.
If I still lived in St Albans then Cambridge wouldn't be too far at all, but Brighton is that bit more of a treck.
This summer in Brighton is gonna be great though with the world cup being shown on the beach at sunrise, and Norman Cook playing on the beach.
Woo hoo...roll on the summer. I really need to find a job where I can work 1 or 2 days a week but for the same or more money.

Big screens on the beach?
You'll freeze your tits off! Even if it is summer.

Nah, we'll just get plenty of booze inside us
and wear a big jumper till the sun's got a bit hotter. Then remain there for the rest of the day and fry and drink Pimms and Gin. mmmm

Yeah, we will be drinking on the beach much earlier on in the morning
due to the world cup this year. We don't usually go down there till 11.00 or 12.00 but I'm sure we'll cope. No different than still being awake at that time at a festival.
Mmmm have a nice big Baileys cappucino to start the day.
Am I allowed to talk about coffee in yours and Nicey's presence? Tea wins over coffee as a rule, but it ain't so great with Baileys in it

Norman Cook
is cool. I like him. All day beach drinking sounds very dangerous. You could get sun-burnt or drown or something. You be careful.
( ,

Yeah it does get quite dangerous.
I remember drinking gin in the sun all day 2 years ago not realising I was on doubles all day, got very drunk, very red, and fell asleep and missed England beating Germany. It all got very messy. But after a bit of a Puke-a-hontis sesh I was back on track. Just aged a few years in one day.
Norman Cook is great when he plays in Brighton. He loves playing to his home crowd, he goes mental

I remember that day
when Engalnd beat Germany. Next door nearly caught me and Nicey, um you know, being naughty in the garden.. It was funny though..

Ha ha!
I don't have a garden and Tim's too chicken to shag on the balcony!

There was this other occasion
When the guy who who used to own the house with me had his folks down to see him. Me and the wife had sneaked off to the the garden for naughtyness and when his Mum came out to say good bye to us, luckily the combination of darkness and choosen position allowed us to both wish them fair well, whilst we were still on the job.
The Wife was embarresed I thought it was skill.

Ha ha ha!
I just typed something highly amusing about myself, then thought, "no, you've had too much vodka and stuff, it's perhaps not a good idea to admit that over the internet"
and swiftly typed this instead.

Good plan
I can't believe he told you that! I still can't look his mum in the eye. Nicey was there carrying on a normal conversation with her, but I can't say a word - I was worried it would all come out too high pitched and give us away.. I'm going red just thinking about it.

We had coffee
this afternnon actually, in the gatden after a bottle of wine. I think it was medicinal really, but it was very nice. It also goes well with whiskey and brandy. Oh and it makes great galliano hot-shots too. Hmm

Yeah, coffee and rum is quite luxury as well
at 5:00 in the morning as well. Ooh, got a bit of Andy Williams playing at the moment. How delightful..."You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you.."

I hope you're not
by yourself. You shouldn't listen to Andy Williams alone - it can make you sad.
Coffe and rum is a great pick-me-up. We drink it when we're skiing to help us keep going.

This one is a bit bonkers as well
She was 30 last week and is having a few 'moments' about it this evening. She even suggested that we both get up the duff to make us stop smoking (obviously not by each other). But I am far too young to be ready for that grown-upness.
( ,

That is a bit drastic
You'd have to give up booze too, and smelly cheese, and pate, and runny eggs, and drugs, and having money, and your social life. Apart from that it's a good plan though.

Sooz and I don't do snotty egg yolks
But giving up cheese for 9 months will probably kill me more than giving up fags. Same as Sooz. Both veggie cheese addicts.

on previous occasions, this has been enough to hospitalise her, but after 9 or so years, and nearly dying a couple of times, we thought an operation she had in august would be the last of it.
