that it hasn't really taken off yet. That would be great for helping keep the file sizes of our animations down to a respectable level. gif format is terrible for photos

Well

its more of a movie format than a web-graphics format. But it sucks compared to MPEG, DivX etc. etc. It actually predates both MPEG and AnimGIF, if i recall correctly.

if you're so geeky

then why do all your linkies always open in the same window, thus causing me to close my b3ta browser? It's a big deal when your machine is as slow as the one I'm using. By the time I open a new browser and get back to b3ta, I have to wade into the spazz..
