For us IT types it's being stuck between a rock and a hard place post here.
What am I, an IT geek or a designer geek? Do I *have* to be any kind of a geek? I have no body odour, am married, don't like Star Trek or Buffy, have had sex and don't collect comics or figurines.
I'm so confused!

iF YOU WORK IN IT
That's makes you inherently a geek. It does. Also counts if you've built your own pc, have memorised ANY TV episodes of anything (simpsons, red dwarf, blackadder)

The games do look like a lot of "novelty" stuff initially, and i think it's generally well known the Wii isn't a great step up from the GC BUT look at the DS and how popular that is, despite lack of support. I think it'll appeal to people who want to have FUN with their games and may be a surprise hit, in about a year.

It almost certainly will be.
To be honest I started going off Nintendo products and games since the SNES (although I do own a GB micro). They just arent my scene anymore.
