fucking hell
I thought changing my sig line would clarify things but obviously I've been off b3ta for too long.
Let me spell it out: mugatu is a long-time b3ta poster. mugatu is very talented. mugatu's image is slightly over the recommended size limit given in the FAQ. I found it amusing to post a FAQ link to a long-term poster in imitation of the board nazis who'll jump on anyone who transgresses a FAQ statement.
This obviously didn't work for anyone but me. Please accept my apologies for thinking that b3ta was still a place where one could post something that people might be capable of thinking about before replying.

How was anyone supposed to know it was in jest, if you gave no indication of such?
It just looked like a very petty and unrequired dig.

See the above.
I honestly didn't think it would be necessary. I now stand, or sit, corrected and will be sure to add a stupid emoticon to indicate my mood at time of writing to all my future posts.*

sorry for jumping on you a bit
It's just that b3ta has been flooded with really petty 'Read the FAQ' posts recently, and it was impossible to tell your response apart from one of those.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that.
I apologise for provoking the misinterpretation of my intentions; I've not really bothered to read too many of the replies recently.
p.s. I still think it's a very good post, BTW.
