in spanish when you like something its the other way around the object likes you...

"me gusta patatas" literally means potatoes like me 'gusta' meaning he/she/it likes.

Do you know what I did last night? I painted a picture of a jellyfish (this is actually true) using indian ink. Excelp the jellyfish was white and I just painted in the negative space around it, like that episode of Buffy when Dawn is doing negative space in part class with that boy she likes.
