# threadjack.
I just went out for my lunch, in my thick tweedy trousis and trainers and warm scarf and long coat, and I paused outside a shop window on my way back.

An anti-social looking teen walked past me and muttered viciously under his breath. It was only after he'd passed that I realised he'd said 'Tart!'

Do the young people really still use that sort of term? And more to the point, How Did He Know?

# Maybe he said
'You young ups-'
or 'I wish my girlfriend was a'
or maybe, just maybe, he thought 'Hey! She's not looking at me! I can be rude and she won't have the guts to run after me and give me a clip round the ear! What should I say? Slag? Whore? Awight gorjus?'

I love teenagers, me.
