

it's so funny when I'm round my friends and someone says 'SPIDER!', everyone except me starts getting wary and avoiding the whole half of the room the spider is in
whereas I just go and pick it up and throw it out the window :) (before my friend uses his katana on it...)

(though that fast scuttle always freaked me out a bit when it was towards me) until I had a massive one cohabiting with me a few summers ago. I felt it was cruel to put it out, since it would probably die, but it was big enough for me to see its teeth and shit, and it enjoyed sitting upside down on my stairwell so I could see its predatory stance every time I went up and down the stairs.
I'll admit that the idea of hundreds of tiny spiders, soon to be bigger spiders, isn't my favourite idea in the world
