I've done it once before recently, and it's not really a positive thing.
I guess i was going off the theory of progress/learning from mistakes?

...but the guy didn't understand half of what i said, and i felt very self-conscious about my poor memory of GCSE French. You can argue that you don't need to understand a lot to get down to the dirty, but I'd still prefer to at least understand a bit first
