Also, line 30 might equally read GOSUB CHANGE SCENE SETTING, taking the programme to a sub-routine elsewhere. But that might get my head stoved in for being a speccy twat.

I think BBC BASIC had procedures that you could just call by name, so if it said just CHANGE_SCENE_SETTING it could be valid.
