Calvin and Hobbes IS sacred though. Watterson never sold out and never put a foot wrong for the whole run of C&H, so I shall defend his artistic and creative genius to the end.

have you not noticed how many people say far worse in jest on here? (I try to avoid the use of the word c*** for example).

But I do genuinely feel protective over Calvin and Hobbes. Because I know a fair bit about Bill Watterson and admire him greatly for being such an impressive storyteller and artist who never sold out.
