I knew are archeologist once. Aparantly Time Team is a dirty word for them as they rush everything and spoil it all for future digs.

Its a real split opinion, Time Team is great because it gets people interested, helps draw attention to sites and does find some stuff. But it also is comedy archaeology and as you say rushes things badly only to cover them up again at the end quite often.
