We're not being nasty, we're being polite and encouraging him to find the happy line.
The FAQ was written to keep this place ticking along nicely and seeing as we're all guests it seems fair to adhere to it.

check my posts by all means. I won't deny I sometimes point out when people post big images when I see them load (and 70k is my general cut off), but compared to the number of compliments and general chat I post it's a tiny percentage.
I also think I am incredibly fluffy and helpful compared to the people who just shout c*** and fuck off noob.
If you want to pull me up on my sarcasm or dry wit then that's fine as it has been questioned before, but it's just a matter of personal taste really when you think about it.

If I have had a pop that has upset you then I apologise, I doubt it was ever actually personal though.
