The 'Nonce stick'was invented in 1862 by singer and interior decorator, Bryan Adams, initially as a means to procure toast from open windows, unseen by the
occupant. Over the years, however, the Nonce stick became used for more nefarious means, being used by perverts to procure 'Nonce mints' from candy shops.
'Nonce mints' eventually were replaced by small children, hence the modern day confusion and witchhuntery. THEY JUST WANT THEIR MINTS, DAMN THEM!
