I would say that's pretty far from saving the planet :)
also I agree with you about the arty/funny thing you said. Someone had a go at me about not posting funny images and now I get scared to post anything that doesn't contain humour.

I don't do many funnies, b3ta needs a mixture of stuff to make it what it is!
I like all your pictures, funny or not.

I try and do a bit of everything. Some days I have the weight of the world on my shoulders plus a squalking kid and I don't feel the hummus at all. I love my digital painting and illustration. It keeps me sane. So again, bollocks to them.
besides, you post more sketches so I have more material to ink and paint ;)

If it wasn't for the mix of styles on B3ta anyway, they'd have nothing to complain abaout,. so keep up the excellent drawing work, and keep posting it

I guess it hit a nerve that I'm not hummusy enough sometimes.

/although thankfully now starting to get back into the 'proper' art stuff, and still want to do some 'proper' digital art *sighs*
I guess people could level the 'you're not arty enough' argument at peeps like me and it'd hit a nerve
as said, don't worry about 'em, it takes all sorts on here, and it's better for it :)

and say that the funny is what makes b3ta, and the rest is filler.
If there's too much filler, people complain. Probably not me, though, unless I have something funny to say.

you can't please all of the people all of the time, if someone doesn't like something, they can choose to ignore it and move on, or be inspired to buck then trend and have a go at something themselves to do something about it if they want to. Sadly, too many people just start dissing stuff for the sake of it.
Agreed that it's the humour that keeps the place ticking over, but I don't think I've known of a time on here where there's been too much 'filler' kicking about at any one time (except RPS of course)
