After cutting his teeth on the northern club circuit Bernie became a regular TV face in the mid seventiesappearing on the Lulu show, presenting 'Crackerjack' guesting on many big name variety shows and during a royal variety performance show reducing the Queens to tears of laughter. He then joined MI5 and rose to the ranks of a 00. Licensed to kill, he still performs nightly in Halifax.
