[challenge entry] Bigger Version

Click for bigger (61KB)

I've resized it and whatnot because i've got Photoshop now, and this is better than the original post, but the first time i posted this it wasn't for the challenge, it just went on the main board. So i'm not re-enterin the comp. I won't just be using Photoshop for resizing though, once i figure out how to use it for other things, i will!

# Hurrah.
Now get 'shopping!

# Great! Resizing it made it funnier!
Hahahahahahahahaha *click*

# *licks artifacts off the ham*
now you have two of the same images in the compo

Why don't you just make one image the size of the actual message?

Also: we got the message the first time really.
Could've made something different, with added HUMMUS©

# congrats, but instead of shelling out so much for Photoshop
why didn't you just use a free bit of kit like Paint.net or Gimp.

If you're just resizing and stuff you could probably even find online tools that can do that.

# What is this "shelling out" that you speak of?
*cough* Limewire *cough*
(, Sun 24 Jun 2007, 17:07, archived)
# *cough* I hope you lose as much money from piracy of your own stuff as you deprive the people you steal from *cough*

# a copy of gimp loses adobe as much money as a pirated photoshop
but i'm not going to get into one of those arguments ;)
(, Sun 24 Jun 2007, 17:12, archived)
# not at all
a person using a pirate version of Photoshop is using Adobes package without paying and therefore losing them that much money.
a person using the gimp is just someone using the gimp.

If you want to use Photoshop, or any other package, pay for it. Otherwise don't use it or find a cheaper alternative.

But as you say, you're not getting in to this argument, just starting one ;)

# well they lose a sale either way
it's semantics

which they are far from sadly.

# Fuck right off with your cunting fucking assumptions, you arsewipe
Who said anything about me personally pirating software? And as it happens, yes I have had my work ripped off - probably more fucking times than you've had hot dinners in your short and oh, so fucking prissy and goddamned perfect life.

Cunt.

# You suggested downloading it
what were you actually implying then?

I lost my job and almost my home thanks to piracy of the game I worked on. So yes, a very perfect life, thanks.

P.S. If you read what I put and you haven't pirated anything, then there is no problem as you would not be losing anything. So why the rude words?

# post, let post...and shut the fuckup!
the board got along fine before you turned up and will continue to do so without your constant and opinionated narrow minded espousals!
(, Sun 24 Jun 2007, 18:29, archived)
# why does my having an opinion on things that you disagree with
get you so annoyed? People are different, as are their views, no one is necessarily right. But it doesn't mean people can't have discussions.

chill fella.

fankyou Medi xx

I detest it when people make blind assumptions based on lack of knowledge. I know for instance that Limewire is a prime source of software rip-offs (as indeed is it a primary source of viruses, which is just another reason why I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole!) but I would defend to the death the right of individuals, not companies, to have the choice to share software.

# Is Paint.net good yet?
It was a bit flaky last time I used it. I may have to investigate it again.
I just can't get on with the GIMP though, great though it undoubtedly is.
(, Sun 24 Jun 2007, 17:09, archived)
# yeah I tried it out quickly and found it much better than Gimp at least
(I prefer to use PSP 10 for all my stuff, far faster than Photoshop, better variety of tools, more hands on and only about £15 off Amazon on a good day)

# I'd be all over PS Elements like a wet flannel if it did masks properly.
And didn't run like an asthmatic having an attack.
Sadly this seems not to be the case.

Doesn't deserve a click, tbh.
