Best thing EVER to do to cats:1. Wait until cat is standing side-on to you.
2. Take hold of the two legs on the side of the cat that is facing away from you.
3. Gently but firmly pull them towards you.
4. Watch cat slide off its own feet with an indignant bump. Rejoice in mirth and merriment.
5. Wait for the cat to get up again.
6. Repeat.

AhOur cat Hamlet is a big fat ginger cushion on legs, he goes FLUMP and looks up at you as if you've wounded his little kitty soul, before standing up, letting you do it again, then looking at you as if you've wounded his little kitty soul, before standing up, letting you etc
