# Neverwinter Nights?
w00t!
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:42, archived)
# best game that side of 1999
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:43, archived)
# Neverwinter Nights 2
best game of the year ( oh bugger, what about oblivion? Now I'm confused )

# I want the NWN2 expansion :(
Why does it have to come out AFTER the huge summer break. Arseholes.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:45, archived)
# just fill your boots
with some modules til then. There are one or two decent ones. I'm even considering one myself.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:49, archived)
# Ooh, when I looked for modules all I found was shit like "WOAH THIS IS JUST A PRELUDE!"
and bollocks that would be completed in like ten minutes. Are people actually releasing decent story modules now, like they did for NWN1?
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:51, archived)
# There are a couple to be found.
'tragedy in Tragedor' was not to bad as I recall. I've just got 'Night Howls in Nestlehaven V1.14' but not played it yet ( as I had a mad moment and decided to play Dungeon Siege 2 : Broken World and finish it for a change.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:57, archived)
# Cheers, I'll note those have a look through some module sites tomorrow.

# only just got a geforce 7800 gs today
been painfully directx-9-less for far too long

all rejoice!
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:48, archived)
# Rejoicement!
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:48, archived)
# ^this
sadly enough my computer is so old I could only get an AGP compatible gfx card

So many games to play now, I'd been living several years in the past
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:54, archived)
# Generally something to be regarded as A Good Thing.
The games you've missed will be both cheap and classic now. The newer games aren't all that interesting anyway ._.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:58, archived)
# hehe well that's always good to know :)
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:59, archived)
# meh
finally got to play Europa Universalis 3 today amongst other things

good stuff
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:03, archived)
# you will no doubt
be getting Half Life 2.

Also go to ATI and download their latest drivers ( not to use,) just that they are giving away an option in the download files to get HL2 Lost Coast as a freebie.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:15, archived)
# Lost Coast isn't worth it. It's just like a 5 minute level that's barely more than a tech demo.
You get Deathmatch free, too. Which is also godawful.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:24, archived)
# ah right.
I've never played it. I'm not a big HL2 fan. More of a dungeoner or games like X3. Playing Dawn of Magic ( russian game, kind of Diablo for the 21st century ) at the moment and loving some hack and slash.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:29, archived)
# ooh that's harsh
I remember the day I got my ATI 9800pro just for DX9.0 and did indeed rejoice. Until PCIe cards came out. I'm chasing pixel fill rates every 3-6 months now. Currently on twin XT1950's and am considering a DX10 card shortly.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:53, archived)
# Balls to you.
My X850XT is starting to talk to me. It says things like "Woah, hey, I'm old. You want to play Fallout 3, right?" to which I go "That's not for over a year yet, spaz" and it goes "WOOAH UPGRADE ME ANYWAY"
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:54, archived)
# The new 8600 GTS
Is pretty good value for money, pixels to the pound-wise
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 0:56, archived)
# I'm afraid
I don't do Nvidia so I'm looking at an HD2900XT for an AMD dual core I will be building mid-week.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:02, archived)
# Haven't seenone of them running yet,
but the reviews are pretty good, should be nice with the AMD chip, 6000+ perchance?!
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:05, archived)
# No I'm going with the
4200+ X2 simply because I picked one up with an SLI board and 2GB DDR800 for buttons in the loot.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:10, archived)
# You can't complain at that,
Sounds lika a bargain, I can't really upgrade at the mo, got a bloody socket 939 mobo

*cries*
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:17, archived)
# Socket 939
is indeed the way to go as AM2 ( latest 64bit Athlon, Sempron and X2 chips ) will be around for a while I think
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:19, archived)
# The new barcelonas are out in October
Well, that's the theory anyway, don't think I can wait till then though
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:23, archived)
# well
happy b3taday to you!
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:11, archived)
# Thankee,
mind you, I need to sort out the lurkage!
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:13, archived)
# damn. I knew I forgot something
in my last post. Happy B3taday.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:16, archived)
# Thanks.
I need to post more often though, severe lack of hoummus, and the skillorz of a three week dead puffer fish!
(, Sun 8 Jul 2007, 1:19, archived)
# haha I'd actually
gotten an "ATI RadeonX 1950 Crossfire Edition"

But that needed a "slave"

I wouldve had to get a new motherboard altogether so I just returned the bitch and got myself something I could deal with.

# I've been
DirectX-less for several years.

As long as I can play Quake 3+, UT2K4 and Enemy Territory I'm happy.

A man of simple pleasures*, I am.

# I quite loved
the bit of Oblivion I played.
