# is that an offer?
TJ: can any vector experts tell me where I'm going wrong here? (apart from the fact that the hair isn't done and the model is hideous, naturally)

# Yes.
You appear to have spunked all over the image.

yes.

# why do you think you are going wrong?
(, Wed 11 Jul 2007, 16:09, archived)
# the eyes don't look right.
nor the mouth.

I'm not sure why.

You were very helpful when I butchered my last vector.

# i can't really see anything objectionable there
the eyes are fine, and the mouth just looks like an insincere smile
(, Wed 11 Jul 2007, 16:13, archived)
# oh fair enough then.
it's supposed to look like an insincere smile, so I guess I can't be going as far wrong as I thought. Ta.

# looks fine to me.
if you want to take some of the harshness out of it you could always feather your selections before filling them, or fill them with a modified gradient fill ( modify it so the very outer edges get the fade ). If you are using A.I. you could always try the gradient mesh route. ( I think it's hard to learn that stuff but by christ it gives professional results. )
